WE CANNOT GIVE OUT SSN'S!
By law we cannot give out a person's Social Security Number.
          
We are bound by laws that protect an individual's privacy, and are designed to thwart identity theft. These laws prohibit us from giving out a person's Social Security Number (SSN), or Date of Birth (DOB) to another party. Please do not ask us, this is a strict policy and no one at our company will comply with such a request.

We are allowed to give out someone's address IF you provide us with their SSN, and we are also able to validate an SSN to make sure that any number you have been given is legal, and assigned to the person that gave it to you (most likely for employment purposes). If you already have the person's SSN, then both of these are allowable purposes.
  
We are also allowed to make a search on YOUR SSN to make sure that your number is not being used by another individual for a possibly illegal purpose that could impact your credit rating.
   
If you are looking to obtain a new or replacement SSN, then contact the Social Security Administration ( SSA) at 1-800-772-1213, or contact your local SSA office directly, and they will arrange a replacement. We are unable to help with lost or misplaced SSN cards, but another will be promptly issued by your local SSA office.

Records for residents of US commonwealth countries and possessions of the US are more difficult to obtain, often incomplete or unobtainable.  [The U.S. has twelve unincorporated territories, also known as possessions, and two commonwealths. The major possessions are American Samoa, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. All of these have a non-voting representative in the U.S. Congress. The major commonwealths are Puerto Rico and the Northern Marianas. Commonwealths have their own constitutions and greater autonomy than possessions, and Guam is currently in the process of moving from the status of unincorporated territory to commonwealth. The residents of all of these places are full U.S. citizens, with the exception of those on American Samoa who are U.S. nationals, but not citizens.
