Limitations:
For obvious reasons PeopleFindUSA cannot perform
a search on a public figure or a well known celebrity. The subject must be 18 years of age or older. We are limited
to searching for people within
the United States. They must have been resident, or at
least have resided in the country for a significant
period of time. If someone does not want to be found, or
if they are in prison, or in a witness relocation
program then they will most probably not be found in the
databases that we have access to. We will not find
the person that you are looking for if you provide
inaccurate or very sparse information. Although we make every effort to provide
you with the results that you are looking for, we cannot guarantee the
results if the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate.

MORE
ABOUT FINDING SOMEONE
Finding
someone using the available public record and credit
databases can be achieved with a surprisingly small
amount of information. But the success of the search is
almost entirely dependent on the information that you
give to us:
WHERE
DO WE START?
The first place to start is with the full name. The
middle initial is optional, but understand that with
more than 285 million people resident in the US, the
chances of many people having the same name is very
high. The middle initial, although not a required piece
of information, can be the key in separating a large
group of name matches. If you do not have a middle
initial, and if the name is very common, we may be
presented with literally thousands of names. obviously
it is not practical to contact all of them, so at that
point we would try and find another identifier to
separate the person you are trying to locate from the
crowd.
NEXT?
The next piece of information that can prove to be
critical is an old address. We can separate people by
simply the state and the city if you have that
information available. Or better still, if you have an
old address that is from 5 to 7 years old then we can
search for that person at that old address. If they were
resident at that address for enough time to have
connected a phone, had their bills sent there, etc. then
their name should show up associated with it. We can try
and check old addresses as far out as 10 years old, but
we cannot make any guarantees.
DATE
OF BIRTH (DOB)
This is often the next best piece of information after
the full name of the individual being searched. Don't
know their exact DOB? An approximate age can often be
just as useful, and it can cut down on the number of
spurious matches enormously. If you do not know the
exact age of the individual then give us an age range in
the box labeled "Additional Comments" on the
first page of the online order form. While we are
talking about age, understand that the databases that we
access are generally only useful for people over the age
of 16 to 18 years. People younger than that may not have
an established credit history, and they may not even
have an social security number yet. We have a policy
that we will not knowingly search for an individual
younger than 18 years of age. Children cannot be located
using this type of search, and they are protected by
extensive privacy and safety laws that vary from state
to state. You must be in compliance with the laws of the
state in which you are resident, or the laws of the
state from which the search request originated.
BEST
OF ALL!
The best information that you can give us is a social
security number (SSN). Each US citizen and resident
alien are issued an SSN. This is a unique ID number that
is only associated with them. The only time that you
will find multiple names associated with an SSN is if
the number was reissued after the death of the previous
user, or if someone has been using that SSN either by
mistake or fraudulently. If you have an SSN then the
chances of a successful search are very high indeed,
assuming that the number that you give us is correct!
THE
LITTLE THINGS
The small pieces of information that only you can know
about this person can often be of enormous help. We
cannot predict what it is that you can add that might
help, but please feel free to enter this information in
the box marked "Additional Comments" in the
first page of the online ordering system.
PLEASE
NOTE:
We are allowed to find someone for you for a number of
reasons. BUT if the information is used in any way to
harm, harass or stalk an individual, then you will be
liable for criminal prosecution. There are strong
privacy laws in many states, and you are liable for the
laws of the state in which you are resident. We do not
allow this information to be sold, so you will be the
end-user, and any complaints or legal action will be
directed to you, and not towards an individual that you
may have passed the information on to. If you believe
for ANY reason that the person you are trying to locate
will not be receptive to being contacted by you, whether
as an individual, or as a representative of a company or
business entity, then DO NOT use our services. We WILL
prosecute in the event of a complaint being directed our
way because of some action, or perceived action on your
part.
